Yoga
Our yoga offerings throughout the retreat will include breathwork, meditation, yin, vinyasa, somatic movement, and Yoga Nidra. All of our offerings are adaptable for all levels. We encourage everyone to take classes at their own pace. Always feel free to add on where you’d like, pause for a break, or lie down at any point. A brief breakdown of each is provided below:
Breathwork
Conscious breathwork is a powerful tool to relax the nervous system and release tension in the physical, mental, and emotional body. We will guide you through a variety of breathwork techniques.
Meditation
Meditation promotes mental clarity, emotional balance, and inner peace. Our leaders will guide you through intentional mindfulness meditation moments.
Yin
The beauty of yin lines in the deep pause. By holding postures intentionally for a longer duration of time, yin yoga targets deep connective tissues like fascia, ligaments, and joints.
Vinyasa
All our vinyasa yoga classes are influenced by a fluid, musicdriven, dynamic, and intuitive Vinyasa style. Our vinyasa classes will range from slow-paced sequences focused on alignment to strong, power flows that integrate creative vinyasa sequencing. This range will expose students to a variety of benefits including alignment, mobility, flexibility, strength, and increased mind-body connection.
Somatic Movement
Tune in and allow your inner world to guide your movement. Somatic movement focuses on what you are feeling in your body as opposed to the appearance.
Yoga Nidra
Floating between states of wakefulness and sleep, this guided “yogic sleep” cultivates deep relaxation.
Daily Yoga & Mindfulness
Each day will be celebrated with a gratitude circle, two yoga/movement classes (a combination of Vinyasa, Yin, Nidra or somatic movement) and breathwork. We will practice guided Meditation and journaling. (Optional) Reiki will be offered. There will abundant opportunities for self-exploration and introspection.
Opening & Closing Fire Night Ceremonies
We’ll begin and end our retreat in a beautiful and powerful fire ceremony. A beautiful way to come into connection with each other, sacred Bali, and our true Self.
Private Beach Day & Yoga
We will spend one full day at a white sand secret beach, great for swimming & snorkeling. We’ll enjoy a relaxing Vinyasa flow on the sand with plenty of time to nap, read or meditate. Options for lunch and cold drinks at your choice of local warungs dotted along the shore (paid separately). Transport is included.
Two Temple Tour
Go back in time to the ancient temple of Gunung Kawi, carved into the mountainside in 1000 BC. We’ll then head to Tirta Empul Sacred Water Temple, to be blessed by the multiple fountains of pure clean sacred water. After, we’ll enjoy lunch (paid separately) overlooking the splendid ancient rice terraces of Tampaksiring.
Offerings
Sebatu Holy Waterfall Temple Tour
A short hike will take us to an ancient temple site where we will be showered by a holy spring waterfall and a private blessing by a Balinese priest.
Balinese Cultural Dinner
Gain a deeper insight into the Balinese culture and people. Learn about the Balinese way of life, the meaning of offerings, and how to create offerings. We’ll enjoy a Balinese buffet, followed by a traditional balinese dance performance overlooking the sunset at Soulshine.
